Syracuse, NY – Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly before 8:07 p.m. Sunday at 422 Hawley Ave.
Daniel Martinez, 19, received a minor stab wound in his upper right arm, for which he was treated at Upstate University Hospital, Sgt. Tom Connellan said.
Melissa Allen, 39, also was taken to Upstate for treatment of a broken nose and possible facial fracture, Connellan said. Martinez punched Allen in the nose after she stabbed him, Connellan said.
Allen was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
