Syracuse, NY -- A Syracuse teenager was shot Tuesday night on the city’s Southside, Syracuse police said.
Dionte Carroll, 17, was shot once in the upper right arm about 10:05 p.m. in the area of South Salina Street and West Beard Avenue, police said. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where his injury was determined not to be life threatening.
Police found 11 spent bullet casings in the street and a parked vehicle also was hit by gunfire, police said.
