Weedsport, NY – State police are investigating an accident at Exit 40 of the state Thruway in Weedsport in which a tractor trailer flipped over.
The truck is between the eastbound on and off ramps of Exit 40, Trooper Steven Black said. Police are threading traffic around the accident by having cars exit, make a U turn at the toll booth and get back on the highway, he said.
The driver was hurt but his injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, Sgt. Robert Simon said.
