Students from six Syracuse-area colleges will publicly share their business ideas

Syracuse, NY--Students from six local college campuses who have spent the last three months incubating their business visions in the Syracuse Student Sandbox will present their ideas to the public on Aug. 18. Their ideas, which range from hot sauce and beer with local roots to online gaming, will be presented on Aug. 18 at Demo Day. The public is...

Syracuse, NY--Students from six local college campuses who have spent the last three months incubating their business visions in the Syracuse Student Sandbox will present their ideas to the public on Aug. 18.

Their ideas, which range from hot sauce and beer with local roots to online gaming, will be presented on Aug. 18 at Demo Day. The public is invited to the event at the Syracuse Technology Garden at 235 Harrison St.. It begins at 3 p.m. with company presentations, followed by a reception at 4 p.m .

The sandbox program is open to students from Syracuse University, Cayuga Community College, Le Moyne College, Morrisville State College, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and Onondaga Community College.

Their ideas this year include: hot sauce and beer with local roots, online gaming and animated graphic warriors.
