Syracuse, NY--The Syracuse Peace Council will gather on the steps of the Federal Building in Syracuse at 1:30 p.m. today to urge an end to the U.S. war in Afghanistan following the release of war logs by WikiLeaks.
WikiLeaks this weekend released more than 90,000 classified military reports about Afghanistan.
"This isn't a leak-it's a flood that washes away any illusions that Afghanistan is the 'good war'," said Peace Council organizer Jessica Maxwell, in a news release. "We have to take action to bring U.S. troops home and end these occupations. Now."
