Scriba, NY -- More than an ounce of crack cocaine was seized Thursday in a raid on a home in the Hilltop Mobile Home Park in Scriba, Oswego police said.
The raid took place just before 2 p.m. at 956 Middle Road, Lot 6-W, and officers took into custody the resident, Emmanuel A. Frederick, 51, when they served the search warrant, police said.
Police found 29.2 grams of crack cocaine, which authorities said was worth $2,900 on the street. Also seized was $1,716 in cash, police said.
Frederick was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies. Frederick was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond and was ordered to return to Scriba Town Court on July 7.
Besides police, taking part in the raid were members of the state police community narcotics enforcement team and a canine unit from the U.S. Border Patrol.
