Syracuse, NY--Shortly before noon today the winner of the $26 million Mega Millions lottery ticket sold in Syracuse turned it in to the New York State Lottery office on South Salina Street.
But the winners' name, or names, remains a mystery.
“All we’re saying is that the ticket has been claimed,” said Carolyn Hapeman, speaking for the lottery.
The lottery is working on a date, place and time for the check presentation, she said.
The winning ticket was sold at the Price Chopper on Erie Boulevard East in Syracuse.
