Auburn, NY-- Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a shirtless suspect who burglarized Harley's Irish Pub Friday.
The pub is one of three north side businesses burglarized over the past week, including two discovered Friday.
Here’s what police say happened.
On June 19, someone forced open the rear door of Mr. Pizza, 69 Wall St., and took an undisclosed amount of cash and rolled coins.
This morning, an employee reporting to work found the rear door of The Printery, 147 State St., forced open and the business ransacked. Employees are inventorying the business to see what, if anything, was taken.
At the same time, The Printery’s neighbor, Harley’s Irish Pub, 149 State St., was also burglarized.
It's rear door was also forced open and the business ransacked. Once inside a suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash and rolled coins.
The pub, however, has a surveillance system and it recorded the suspect in the bar during the burglary.
Police are looking for a black man, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet, two inches tall, with a clean shaven head, and muscular build. He was shirtless and wearing baggy, loose fitting shorts.
The police are asking anyone who can identify the suspect, or has information on the burglaries, to call the department at 253-3231 or lead investigators Douglas Parker at 255-4726 or Byrant Bergenstock at 258-9880.
