Syracuse, NY -- A resident of the Onondaga Nation sought on felony warrants was taken into custody today on Oneida Nation territory by members of the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Corey Redmond, 21, was arrested without incident about 10:45 a.m. at a home on the Oneida Nation land, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Redmond, who was a fugitive since March, was sought on warrants for robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, assault and reckless endangerment, all felonies, and criminal mischief and menacing, both misdemeanors.

The charges stem from several incidents on the Onondaga Nation, deputies said.

Thomas Lowe, co-defendant of Redmond’s, is still at large and a reward is being offered for information leading to Lowe’s arrest, deputies said. Anyone with information on Lowe is asked to contact the regional fugitive task force at 473-7625.

The Oneida Nation Police assisted in the arrest. The fugitive task force includes officers from the Onondaga County Sheriff's warrant unit, the U.S. Marshals Service and the state police warrants unit
