Oswego, NY -- Oswego police arrested a East 9th Street man after finding 69 pot plants growing on the roof of his apartment building.
On Monday, police were told marijuana was being grown on the roof of 100 East 9th St. They found the plants growing in pots on the roof.
The next day, police searched the apartment of Andrew J. MacMillen, 49, at the same address and found 14 more pot plants, they said.
MacMillen was charged with unlawfully growing cannabis, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of marijuana in the third degree, a felony.
MacMillen was released and ordered to return to Oswego City court July 1.
Oswego Police Chief Michael J. Dehm, Jr., said the investigation is continuing.
