Stefan Babiak, 59, of 59 French Avenue, was arrested after the crash down the street from his residence, troopers said. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.19 when tested. He was also charged with failure to keep right.
Troopers said Babiak hit a guidewire to a telephone pole about 4:30 p.m. Sunday at French Avenue and Owasco Road.
He was released on tickets to appear in Owasco Court June 15.
