The Syracuse Common Council could vote today on a controversial law that would put limits on new rental property developed near Syracuse University.
The law would require a single unblocked parking space for every bedroom in new rental property in the district. The law has pit landlords against single-family homeowners in the neighborhood. More than 100 people showed up at City Hall last week to talk about it.
The city has posted answers to some questions on the home page of its website.
Today’s meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. at City Hall, 233 E. Washington St.
