An Eagleville man had to hold on for his life after three teens allegedly dined and ditched at a local Waffle House on May 30.Andrew Brian McKnight grasped the hood of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Christopher Allen Miller, of Murfreesboro, when the driver allegedly attempted to run him over outside the Waffle House on Old Fort Parkway at Cason Lane.
Miller, who was charged in the incident, drove away from the scene and, according to police, reached speeds of up to 60 mph with McKnight on the hood. McKnight, who's actually a Waffle House employee at the South Church Street location, called 911 on his mobile phone and talked to a 911 dispatcher as the incident was occurring.
