Syracuse, NY - A man who turned 24 years old less than a week ago was killed in a motorcycle crash this morning, Syracuse police said.
Kenneth Berube, whose address is unknown, was riding his Honda motorcycle on Butternut Street at 2:37 a.m. when, according to witnesses, he "popped a wheelie," lost control of the motorcycle and hit a parked vehicle, city police Sgt. Thomas Connellan said in a news release.
Berube was thrown from his motorcycle and taken to Upstate University Hospital for multiple injuries, Connellan said in the release. Berube was pronounced dead about 3:30 a.m. at the hospital.
The Syracuse Police Traffic Division are continuing to investigate the accident.
