The “Go Green” grants, ranging from $1,050 to $7,500, were awarded to:
- Bellevue Academy – G.R.E.E.N. environmental trail project.
- Blodgett K-8 – Our Blue Planet ecology education program.
- Clary Middle School for its Lunch Waste Reduction, Recycle and Composting Program.
- Danforth Middle – Garden of Community landscape design/environmental impact project.
- Elmwood Elementary – Worms, Kids and Garden Green composting/garden project.
- Expedition Learning Middle – Sustainable Earth recycling project.
- Fowler High – Indoor/Outdoor Sustainability Garden.
- Hughes Magnet – Growing a Garden of Learners community garden.
- Hughes (intermediate level) – Green Space Outdoor Education.
- Huntington K-8 – Vegetable and Freedom gardens.
- Institute of Technology at Syracuse Central – for a program in which students will design and build a computer-assisted remote sensing and tracking system for a set of solar energy panels.
- Lincoln Middle – Going, Gone Green and Beyond green education.
- Meachem Elementary – Green Wave Garden Project.
- Edward Smith – A Brighter Shade of Green eco-friendly activities.
- Webster – Waste Not, Want Not waste management project.
- Dr. Weeks – Gardening and Literacy with Worms composting program.
