Syracuse, NY -- A man in his 30s with several gunshot wounds is undergoing emergency surgery this hour at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse police said.
The man was brought by private car at 8:15 a.m. today to the hospital's emergency room, Sgt. Tom Connellan said.
The man, who has not been identified, was shot in front of 174 W. Ostrander Ave., Connellan said. Spent bullet casings were found at the scene, Connellan said.
Officers are still on West Ostrander Avenue interviewing witnesses, Connellan said.
