The 8:41 a.m. crash appeared to involve two tractor trailers and a car in the northbound lanes of Route 695 near Horan Road. Construction in the area added to the bottleneck.
A half-hour after the crash, traffic was backed up almost to West Genesee Street on the Fairmount portion of Route 5 and the Warners Road exit on the Camillus portion.
By 9:25 a.m., the vehicles had been moved to the side of the road and one lane was reopened for traffic.
It was not immediately known if anyone was injured.
