Convicted killer Jeffrey Landrigan was executed late Tuesday after the U.S. Supreme Court decided the state of Arizona could use a non-approved drug for the lethal injection.
Landrigan was convicted of beating and strangling a man to death in 1989. According to CNN, his last words were "Boomer Sooner," a cheer used by University of Oklahoma fans.
From CNN:
Landrigan's last meal consisted of steak, fried okra, french fries, strawberry ice cream and a Dr. Pepper, Marson said.
