Syracuse, NY - A Syracuse man was arrested last night after police said he was found with a loaded handgun by officers responding to a reported fight.
Anthony Glenn, 19, of 1400 Butternut St., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Authorities said officers were dispatched about 7:45 p.m. to a reported fight with a weapon in the parking lot at 1312 Butternut St. People in the parking lot provided police with descriptions of suspects who reportedly had guns, officials said.
Officers checked the area and found Glenn, who matched the description of one of the armed suspects, authorities said. Glenn was arrested after police found a loaded .38 caliber handgun and several ecstasy pills in his possession.
He's being held in the Justice Center jail awaiting arraignment today in Syracuse City Court.
