Syracuse, NY--A tip has lead Syracuse police to the car they believe struck a city man Monday evening riding his bike on Rowland Street.
Frank Moser, 46, of Syracuse, remained in critical condition today at Upstate University Hospital. He is being treated for fractures to his arms, legs, hips and skull, said Sgt. Tom Connellan, speaking for the Syracuse police.
Acting on a tip, Tuesday police found a gray Dodge Charger parked behind a residence in the 100 block of Russell Place. The car, which is a rental vehicle, was taken to the police department’s criminal lab to be processed for forensic evidence, Connellan said.
Police have not made an arrest in the case, he said.
Moser was riding his bike on Rowland Street near South Geddes Street when at about 7 p.m. Monday a vehicle described as a gray or silver Dodge struck him. The vehicle fled the scene heading east on Rowland Street.
