Syracuse, NY -- The public is asked to help locate a man police want to talk to in an investigation into two incidents of arson within 24 hours at an East Genesee Street apartment, Syracuse police said.

Joseph Turner, 23, of Syracuse, is a black male, 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes.

Police are investigating two minor fires, the latest occurring at 2:20 a.m. Friday at 1505 E. Genesee St., Sgt. Gary Bulinski said. The fires were confined to the one apartment, he said.

Anyone with any information on Turner is asked to call Syracuse police at 442-5222.
