Rush, 17, was found unconscious and not breathing at 12:18 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Eastman Avenue. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at 1:03 a.m., Chief Frank Fowler said.
