Fayetteville, NY - State police caught three restaurants selling alcohol to minors Saturday during a sting to crack down on illegal alcohol sales in Onondaga County's eastern suburbs.

The "Underage ID" crack down took place in the towns of DeWitt and Manlius, and the villages of Fayetteville and East Syracuse, state police said.

Of the 13 bars and taverns, and seven retail establishments, state police said they found three bartenders who sold alcohol to someone younger than 21 years old.

The following bartenders were charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales of alcohol to a person under 21:

  • Heather E. Heilig, 21, of LaFayette, a bartender at Ruby Tuesday Restaurant at 3220 Erie Boulevard E., Dewitt. She is scheduled to appear Oct. 5 in Dewitt Town Court.
  • Phoebe R. Morrin-Gross, 23, of Syracuse, a bartender at Papa Gallo Mexican Restaurant at 205 W. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
  • Trista L. Rinauto, 20, of Kirkville, a bartender at Kirby's Restaurant on West Genesee Street in Fayetteville. She is sceheduled to appear Oct. 5 in Manlius Town Court.
