Syracuse, NY – Certain downtown Syracuse streets will be closed this weekend as officials prepare for, hold and clean up from the Latino-Americano Festival on Clinton Square.
The festival is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, beginning with a parade on South Salina Street from Jefferson Street to Clinton Square.
These blocks will be closed to traffic through Sunday morning, city officials said:
- West Water Street from South Salina to South Clinton streets, beginning at 6:30 a.m.
- Erie Boulevard West from South Clinton to South Franklin streets, beginning at 9 a.m.
- South Clinton Street from West Genesee to West Washington streets, at beginning 9 a.m.
Also, expect occasional traffic delays Saturday as the parade passes along West Jefferson, South Salina and West Genesee streets, officials said.
