Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that led to the lockdown of a South Side neighborhood Tuesday night. Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler said the arrest was made Wednesday afternoon.
Police had been looking for Terry Cooper, a man they believe fired a shot while being pursued by police shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Baker Avenue.
Following the single shot, police poured into the neighborhood, searching house to house for Cooper.
