Town of Oswego, NY – A town of Oswego man was charged Tuesday with three felony counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, state police in Fulton said.
Cory J. Ketcham, 36, of 906 Rathburn Road, was arraigned Tuesday in Oswego City Court and returned to the Jamesville Correctional Facility in Onondaga County, state police said. Ketcham is being held there awaiting trial on federal child pornography charges, according to the U.S. Marshals Service in Syracuse. He has been at Jamesville since June 30, jail records indicate.
Under the new charges, Ketcham allegedly engaged in intercourse and other sexual acts with a person under the age of 13 numerous times between 2008 and 2010 in Oswego County, troopers said. The investigation began in July following a complaint by the state police Computer Crimes Unit in Oneida, troopers said.
The U.S. Secret Service also worked on the investigation, troopers said.
Tracy Gast, special agent in charge of the Secret Service's Buffalo district, said he could not speak to this specific case but said his office helps local law enforcement agencies with computer forensic examinations during child pornography investigations.
