'Be a man and talk to someone face to face about the issue you are having, don't hide behind a blog.'
Price Chopper apologized Tuesday after it was revealed that a Price Chopper employee got into a personal Twitter dispute with a disgruntled Syracuse-area customer. Here's what swissarmy had to say:
"I don't want people to "contact everyone who runs an awful business"...whatever you mean with that quote exactly, but if I have an issue with a place where I might be a possible customer I am going to speak up before I spend my money there...9 times out of 10, the store would be more then willing to accommodate. My point is, if this guy had such a problem with the lack of produce why not ask the produce manager or service desk if they could re-stock the product? Instead he gets on his smart phone and starts to blog like a little whiny child about the store. I mean come on. Be a man and talk to someone face to face about the issue you are having, don't hide behind a blog.» Follow swissarmy on syracuse.com
"For the record, I do not shop at Price Chopper. I only shop at Wegmans. I have had issues with Wegmans such as being over charged or them being out of an item and I have spoken up. Over charged issues were taken care of with a refund and out of stock items were either rain checked or an employee checked their back room stock to see if the item is available. Its as simple as speaking up....that is my point."
