Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse police and fire departments are investigating an intentionally set fire inside a car early Thursday morning.
Tamika Leonard, 24, discovered her car on fire about 1:10 a.m. outside her home in the 300 block of Bradley Street.
In addition to the fire damage, police determined that the windows of the 1999 Saab 95 were smashed, the seats were slashed and stabbed and two tires had been punctured, reports state. A note, the contents of which were not disclosed, and a book of matches were found inside the car.
Leonard told police she is not having problems with anyone and doesn’t know who may have started the fire.
A Syracuse fire investigator determined the fire was intentionally set.
