Fire officials said a female occupant returned home and discovered the house full of smoke when she opened the door. She immediately shut the door and called 911, authorities said.
The blaze, which originated in the basement, was quickly doused.
Firefighters from Mattydale, Liverpool and Moyers Corners responded to the blaze.
