Syracuse, NY -- A coalition of community groups calling themselves United As One will march on the Onondaga County Justice Center Saturday seeking justice for victims of law enforcement brutality, abuse, and neglect.
Marchers from various segments of the Syracuse community will gather between noon and 12:30 p.m. at the Kirk Park football field. From there they'll march two miles along South Avenue, Shonnard Street, West Street, West Onondaga Street, Madison Street, and State Street to the Justice Center.
They plan to rally in front of the Justice Center from about 2 to 3 p.m.
The event is being organized by the ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition, League of United Latin American Citizens, New York Civil Liberties Union, the Lighthouse of Love Ministries and the Syracuse Peace Council.
