Ronald J. LarkinsDeWitt, NY -- A man charged with the robbery of a Weedsport hotel has been charged in the attempted robbery of a DeWitt hotel earlier in the same day.
Ronald J. Larkins, 44, is accused of entering the Ramada Limited Hotel on Thompson Road with a loaded 9 mm handgun on Aug. 24. Later that day, Larkins was arrested on the Thruway Aug. 24 following the robbery of the Best Western Hotel in Weedsport. Larkins was formally charged with the attempted robbery Aug. 26, DeWitt police said.
