The driver, Matthew Reissig, 24, of 102 Beechwood Ave., Salina, and the passenger, Rachel Willson, 23, no address available, both were taken to Upstate University Hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Neither was at the hospital this morning, an official there said.
Reissig was driving his Honda motorcycle south on Old Liverpool Road about 8:20 p.m. when he swerved to avoid a Toyota being driven out of the Santangelo’s Restaurant parking lot by Theresa Wichowsky, 59, of 11 Continental Drive, Lockport, Sgt. John D’Eredita said.
The Toyota grazed the Honda, which went off the road near Electronics Parkway, he said.
