Syracuse, NY -- Central New York appears to be gearing up for another heat wave, with high temperatures in the 90s all week that could peak at 97 degrees by Thursday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Accuweather is predicting a more modest high temperature of 91 degrees for Thursday. The evenings will bring welcome relief, with low temperatures in the mid-60s.
Monday's high temperatures is expected to reach 88 degrees. Mostly clear, sunny skies are expected until Friday, when the chance of thunderstorms brings a cooler high temperature of 83 degrees.
