Syracuse, NY - Andre Wilson, William Pace and Rashad Davis were sitting in a car, waiting for some female friends Saturday night when they heard shots fired up around the corner on Rockland Avenue near South Avenue, Syracuse police said.
The men, who were in front of 243 Rockland Avenue at 10:55 p.m. Saturday, then saw a tall, thin man in a dark hooded sweatshirt walking down the sidewalk east on Rockland Avenue, police Sgt. Thomas Connellan said.
One of victims told police they gave the man a "hard look." The man then started shooting at them, Connellan said.
Wilson was shot in the chest. Pace was shot in the arm. And Davis had some cuts on his body from flying glass, Connellan said.
The victims, who are all from Syracuse, drove themselves to Community-General Hospital, Connellan said. None of their injuries are life-threatening, he said.
Wilson, who suffered serious injuries, was transferred to Upstate University Hospital. He remains in serious condition, police said.
Pace and Davis were expected to be released from Community-General Hospital.
