Syracuse, NY - Three people shot early this morning in a parking lot are expected to be released from the hospital today, Syracuse police said.
At 2:06 a.m., a four door black vehicle pulled up behind the three men in the parking lot of 117 Dablon Court, city police Sgt. Thomas Connellan said.
A man got out of the vehicle and started firing a shotgun, Connellan said.
Jasmin Buell suffered a small puncture wound to his back.
Steven Lang was struck three times in the right shoulder.
Daquan Coger had a small laceration from flying glass.
All three victims were taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment. Connellan said Buell and Lang appear to have been struck with buckshot from a shotgun blast. He said the men will be released from the hospital today.
Shots also went through a vehicle, owned by one of the victims, Connellan said.
Syracuse police say three other men were seen with the shooter. All four suspects are in their early 20s, Connellan said. Police are continuing to investigate. Anyone with information about the shooting can call the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
