Fulton, NY -- Fulton resident Tommy Merritt, who is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a child less than age 13, was released from the Oswego County jail Wednesday after posting bail.
Merritt, 38, who ran Fight Science and Precision Tae Kwon Do martial arts schools in Fulton, is charged with second-degree criminal sexual act and third-degree criminal sexual act, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Merritt was being held in lieu of $15,000 bail or $30,000 bond. Wednesday in court, his bail was reduced to $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
He will be back in Fulton City Court Sept. 1.
