Scriba, NY -- Oswego County Sheriff’s deputies this morning accused a Syracuse man of stabbing another man Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of a Scriba convenience store.
Deputies accused John F. Hilborn, 26, of 209 Benham Ave., of assault and criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies. He was arraigned in the Town of Scriba Court and sent to the Oswego County Correctional facility in lieu of $10,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

Hilborn and the victim, who know each other, got into a fight in the parking lot of the KTM Mini Mart, 2203 County Route 1, Scriba. The victim was stabbed during the fight.
Deputies were called to the scene at about 4:30 p.m. Read the previous story on the stabbing. The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Todd said.
The incident is still under investigation.
