Brutus, NY – A Brutus homeowner is missing several pieces of electronic equipment after a daytime burglary Tuesday, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department said.
The burglar or burglars broke into the home on Cottle Road near Bonta Bridge Road between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and took two large-screen televisions, an MP-3 player and other electronics. Sheriff David Gould said it appeared someone drove a vehicle through the grass to the back of the home to load the goods.
Anyone who saw suspicious persons or vehicles in the area should call detectives at (315) 253-1610 or leave a tip at www.cayugacrime.com, Gould said.
