Syracuse, NY – Syracuse police are looking for the person who stabbed a teenage boy in the chest Sunday at West Kennedy Street and Landon Avenue.
Jocquell Johnson, 14, told police he was stabbed about 10:24 p.m. by a black male, 17 or 18 years old, wearing a yellow T-shirt. The assailant left in a four-door Buick that headed west on West Kennedy Street, police said.
Johnson was taken to Upstate University Hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Johnson said he did not know his attacker and thought he might have been the victim of mistaken identity, police said.
