Adolfo HernandezVictory, NY – A Red Creek man was charged with several drug counts Tuesday after police who pulled over his vehicle found heroin, hypodermic needles and other drugs and drug gear in his car, state police said.
In a statement, troopers said they and a Wayne County Sheriff’s deputy followed a green Honda from Route 104 in Arcadia to Maroney Road, Victory, where they pulled over the car. The officers found 270 bags of heroin plus the needles and paraphernalia in the engine compartment and Oxycodone pills inside the vehicle, troopers said.
The driver, Adolfo Hernandez, 42, of 12584 Coleman Road, Red Creek, was charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needles, plus traffic violations, troopers said.
Hernandez was held in Cayuga County Jail without bail, troopers said.
