Syracuse, NY -- A woman suffered minor injuries tonight when she was struck by a car after trying to break up an argument in front of her home on Syracuse’s Eastside, Syracuse police said.
Anita Mason, 38, of 105 Lombard Ave., was taken to Upstate University Hospital after the car backed into her about 10:10 p.m. and then drove off, Sgt. Gary Bulinski said.
Mason tried to intervene in an argument with a passenger in the car and a resident of Mason’s home, Bulinski said.
Police are looking for the vehicle, which was described only as a Buick.
