Syracuse, NY -- The owner of a South Salina Street convenience store was stabbed tonight as he fought outside his business with a man he asked to leave the premises, Syracuse police said.
Craig Davis, 41, suffered a stab wound to his torso about 11 p.m. outside 7 Styles II, 2030 S. Salina St., Sgt. Gary Bulinski said. Davis had told a man to leave his store and when he escorted the man out, the two began fighting and Davis was stabbed, Bulinski said.
Davis was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where his wound was determined not to be life threatening, Bulinski said.
The assailant was still at large late tonight.
