Syracuse, NY -- A man wanted for felony rape who appeared on this year’s Onondaga County’s Most Wanted List was captured Wednesday in Florida.
Joseph Santos, 24, who was number four on this year’s list, was captured by police in Miami, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office announced today. He is to be returned to Onondaga County to answer the rape charge and an endangering the welfare of a minor charge, a misdemeanor.
Santos is the ninth on the list to be caught, deputies said. The only one still at large on the county most wanted list is Francisco Rivera-Guzman, 44. Rivera-Guzman is facing a felony charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
