Salina, NY--The union representing 354 workers at Lockheed Martin in Salina Thursday ratified a new four-year contract that includes a 13.8 percent pay raise over the life of the agreement.
Members of IUE-CWA Local 320 approved the new contract by a margin of 89 percent.
“Our members had a difficult decision to make on this contract. Our medical plan changed dramatically in this negotiations, as well as benefits for future employees,” said Local 320’s President Michael Labulis.
Union members at the Lockheed Martin plant in Moorestown, N.J. , also approved the agreement.
The union represents production workers at the Salina facility, which employs 2,400 people who design and make sonars, air and land based radars, and weapon systems.
