More than 200 vendors at show, which continues Sunday.
LIVERPOOL -- If you couldn't find what you were looking for Saturday at the Great American Antiquefest, chances are good you didn't look hard enough. This year's Antiquefest -- which runs through Sunday at Long Branch Park -- showcases more than 200 vendors from across the United States and Canada. Booths feature everything from antique furniture, clothing, china and silverware to paper goods, old toys, books and postcards, said Judy Allman of Allman Promotions, which organizes the event.
"It's like a fabulous treasure hunt, " Allman said. "Whatever you're looking for, you are bound to find it at the show. You can find a little table for your house or a lamp or gift, and it's not tomorrow's junk. The things sold at the show have value, and they have real staying power."
The show continues Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the park, located on Longbranch Road, Geddes, at the north end of Onondaga Lake.
In addition to the tents filled with goods, food vendors also set up on the grounds. And, the park setting provides plenty of space to rest in the shade.
