According to the utility's Web site, power will be restored to some by 8:15 p.m., to others by 8:45 p.m. and to all by 9:15 p.m.
Other, smaller outages have been reported in the city of Syracuse and suburbs.
National Grid, like other utilities in the Northeast, has been asking customers to conserve energy during the current high temperatures.
