The U.S. Justice Department on Wednesday unsealed charges against five men, accusing them of directing and being involved in a plot to attack the New York subway system at the direction of al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan.The indictment revealed new details about last September's plot in which Afghan-born Najibullah Zazi had planned a suicide bomb attack on New York City subways. Those charged include Adnan El Shukrijumah, a Saudi native believed to be a leader of al Qaeda's operations program. He allegedly recruited Zazi and others to carry out attacks in the United States.
