If successful, SU would become one of three national Energy Innovation Hubs — part of President Barack Obama’s initiative to make the United States a global leader in developing energy-saving technologies while creating clean-energy jobs.

"Gee...As a small business owner I made my building more energy efficient by simply turning lights off when not needed and change some fixtures to more efficient ones. By doing this we cut our electric usage by almost a third and I did it all without any Federal (our) money! Go figure."
