Syracuse, N.Y. -- Police are searching for an 84-year-old North Side woman who has recently shown signs of having Alzheimer's.Police said Genevieve Craniades, of 1322 Oak St., was last seen 8 a.m. Tuesday at her home.
She is 5-foot, 2-inches tall, 120 pounds with white hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a sage green T-shirt and green pants.
"The victim has recently displayed signs of Alzheimer’s disease," police said in a release.
The last time she wandered from home she was found in the area of Highland Park which is located near the corner of Highland Street and Douglas Street.
Police said Craniades doesn't have a car and is thought to have left home on foot.
The reverse 911 system has been activated in the area around her residence.
The Syracuse Police request that anyone who has any information on Craniades, call 911 or the Syracuse Police Criminal Investigation Division at 442-5222.
