Eaton, NY—A call about a vehicle being driven erratically Saturday night led to state police accusing a Cicero man of multiple charges including resisting arrest and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in his car.
State troopers found the car off of State Route 26 in the Hamlet of Eaton, and accused the driver, Renato Baroni, 39, of Cicero, of driving while intoxicated.
Troopers said Baroni resisted arrest and then caused damage to a Madison County Sheriff’s deputy’s patrol car.
He was also accused of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the car, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Baroni was arraigned in the Town of Eaton Court and posted $500 bail.
